Hour Glass
This art is a self portrait. It was inspired by a fellow artist who recommended taking regular things and looking at them differently. This was a chair from my yard brought into the studio, and shot in direct light. The result were these hourglass-like shapes with dark contrasting lines. This "hour glass in prison" look felt like a complex commentary on time; it truly is a treasure and yet we often feel we never have enough while performing the daily duties life's demands.
